“Four walls” represents a small mindflow, only a tiny piece of collective contemplation of this year’s pandemic. Those mind processes are not new, they are just reborn in different times. Isolation brings out and surrounds us with all kinds of shades, flaws, mistakes, sins and we have to face all of it. Sick or imprisoned is not that different anymore. Tomorrow is uncertain in any way. Four walls carry many stories of self reflection and self doubt, suffering and liberation, violence and love, recovery and death.
“Four walls” paints an audio picture of entrapment and puts us in a cold place of loneliness. It tries to make an audiation of intense mind processes, made of questions with no answers. Soundscape is built in an approximate way like one’s mind would work – we hear different voices, abstract sounds, memories, our bursting subconscious and earworms. No common thread, just a chaotic contemplation.
